SMC-BMC-GMT Molding Hydraulic Press Machine

SMC molding glass fiber reinforced plastic forming process is the most widely used in the United States. Mainly used in the automotive industry in the shell, chassis, bumper, spoiler, high-voltage switchgear in the electrical industry, cable branch boxes, building water tank panels, FRP wells in farm irrigation, cable trench brackets in buildings.

Glass fiber content of up to 30% in FRP molded products of SMC molding process.

In the SMC molding process, the sheet molding compound is placed in a mold which has been heated to a specified temperature, and is pressurized by a hydraulic press to uniformly fill the cavity with the molten sheet molding compound, and then solidified by a pressure holding heat for a period of time.
